As an organization, we take every opportunity to raise awareness about the risks of trafficking. Education is one of the most powerful tools in prevention, and we work to equip communities with the knowledge they need to stay safe.
We teach children important lessons such as Good Touch / Bad Touch, helping them recognize safe and unsafe situations. We also share with individuals considering jobs overseas about the risks they may face and the precautionary steps they can take to avoid becoming victims of trafficking.
Without knowledge, people can unknowingly fall into exploitation. This is why it is vital to educate communities about the dangers of trafficking and the warning signs to look for. Together, awareness can save lives.
Prevention Matters
If we want to see an end to the sexual exploitation of women and children, we must address it on every front. One of the most powerful ways is through prevention. Children are among the most vulnerable—sold into sex slavery, or growing up in communities where exploitation has become normalized.
While many factors contribute to trafficking, one proven way to fight back is through education and awareness. By equipping children, families, and communities with knowledge, we can help prevent exploitation before it begins and create lasting change for generations to come.
