The goal of Warriors is to see men set free from the bondage of sin through the power of Jesus.
In our world today, society is bombarded continually with sexualized images and the hyper-sexualization of our culture. This has led to an increased demand for pornography and sex trafficking of women and children.
Statics show that the average age for a child to view pornography for the first time is age 11. Children, both boys and girls, are more and more getting their sexual education from pornography. This trend has led to sexual addiction, and a culture of rape and sexual exploitation. The objectification of women for men’s pleasure is at the core of it all.
At the heart of Warriors is this deep desire of helping men see who God designed them to be. We want to help them reach their full potential. God’s design and plan for man is so much greater than we see and it is through a pursuit of God that we are able to unlock that plan and see who God truly designed us to be.
So how can men walk in purity and holiness? It starts with a pursuit of God.
1. Prayer is one of the core foundations to walking in purity. It is only through prayer and the power of Jesus that man’s hearts can be changed.
3. Bible reading and memorization helps us to focus on Jesus. The Bible tells us to meditate on things above and not on earthly things. What are you allowing to enter you mind? What are you thinking on and meditating on?
2. Get rid of the shame. Sin thrives in the dark and shame helps to keep the sin hidden. The stronghold of sin is broken when it is brought into the light.
3. Men’s Accountability. God has not called us to live a life of isolation. He calls us to community and that includes overcoming sin. Having a group of men to walk alongside you to encourage you, to hold you accountable, and to pray for you is vital in men being able to walk in purity and holiness.
As men pursuing Jesus, He has given us the tools needed to walk in holiness and purity. That doesn’t mean we will be perfect, but God calls us to a lifetime of pursuing Him. Walking in purity and holiness requires action and I want to call you to an adventure with Jesus. As we pursue Jesus and put on the full armor that God has given us we will see strongholds of shame, lust, and sexual addiction broken in Jesus name. Join the adventure today.
Our Partner
We are privileged to partner with another organization called The MST Project. They have provided us with a curriculum called Pathway to Purity. Through this 16 week course, we are able to look beyond the struggle of sexual addiction and address the deeper issues that cause men to struggle and keep them from being able to pursue walking in purity and holiness. The writers of this book have become good friends of mine and I am privileged to work alongside them in helping men to pursue God and begin pursuit of walking in purity and holiness.
